For staffing agencies
Sharper referrals, without the first-interview hours
The candidate call, the notes, the internal share, the reasons for the referral. Hand the first interview to the AI and your coordinators spend their hours on the candidates who are actually worth meeting.

Before the referral
Learn before the referral what you usually learn after it
That a referred candidate's conditions did not match, or that their experience was not what the posting needed, usually surfaces after the client's own interview. When a placement leaves early, many contracts return part or all of the fee — and the next request from that client is affected too.
Meanwhile the hours available for first interviews are finite. More time per candidate means fewer candidates handled. You need more to go on without more hours going in.
Refund terms vary by contract; this page says "many contracts" for that reason.
Hours
The first interview costs none of your staff's time
Hitoshiru runs the first interview; your coordinators start from the report.
Candidates take the interview from the link you send, at a time that suits them. There is no scheduling.
The interview runs in Japanese or English, and either way the report arrives in Japanese. An English interview needs no interpreter.
Your coordinators' time goes to reading the report and meeting the people worth meeting.
Multi-tenant operation
One account, many client companies
Candidates see your brand, and each member of staff can be limited to the clients they handle.
- Candidates see your screens
- From the interview invitation to the report, every screen a candidate touches carries your logo and colours; our name stays in the background. Colours are checked for contrast against text when they are saved, so an unreadable combination cannot be set.
- Each member can be limited to the clients they handle
- Assign a member their client companies and they see no other client's jobs, candidates or reports. A member who handles every client is simply left unassigned and sees all of them.
- Nobody can widen their own access
- Three roles: owner, recruiter and viewer. Roles and client assignments are changed by an owner, and no role — the owner's included — can widen its own access.

Show the reasons for a referral as a record
When a client asks why you put this person forward, answer from the record rather than from an impression. The report comes with:
- A score per criterion and the utterance behind it, in the original language and in Japanese
- The full transcript of the interview
- The audio
The report is described on How it works.
Our commitment
We will not run a job board
Basis: business policy
There is no plan to operate a public job site. Sourcing candidates is a staffing agency's business itself, and a vendor that enters it stops being a vendor.
Candidate data held in Hitoshiru is never used by us to source candidates for ourselves.
- Operating a public job site
- Using candidate data we hold for our own sourcing
Try it with a posting you are working on
Bring a job posting and we will draft its criteria on the call — and show the candidate's screen with your logo and colours on it.
Data separation and storage are described on Security and privacy.
